Cool Vintage European Black Furniture

This very cool vintage container of European furniture, clock faces, architectural pieces etc just came in and is still being unwrapped. The black frames on the chairs and sofa shocked me at first as I have never seen old pieces look this modern / retro and I think they are smashing! Of course the clock face from the Church Tower in Holland is awesome too. If any of these items interest you - email me quick!

Blown Glass Spheres

These artisan mouth blown glass sphere collections of mixed sizes are beautiful...the smooth, twirled and crackled surfaces give them a decorative character perfect for object studies or for a center piece collection. The Green Tea are great - with a bit of creative spirit and the addition of green holly, small mercury marbles and/or other small things nestled into them and you can have a stunning arrangement for the holidays. Available here.

Coastal Artisan Dinnerware - Lobsters & Crabs & Shrimp

Barbie Kennedy’s love of the ocean gives her new dinnerware collection an easy going and livable feeling… they make you smile like summer will never end. Her beach collection was inspired by the Low Country where oyster roasts, ice tea, shrimp boils and bogging for blue crabs is a part of life..... to the northern New England coast where lobsters are cooked on the porch by her father "Pop" with family members surrounding him with laughter and love.

Each piece is hand painted, glazed, fired and signed by the artist… and made here, in the United States. Barbie has been making dinnerware for 10 years and her artisan dinnerware line can be found in the beach section in the J. Covington Home store.

This large 12” Blue Crab bowl is stunning in its oceanic blue and green colors. It looks great on the table filled with chilled shrimp or on the shelf as a decorative coastal accent piece.

The Low Country Collection.

Pop 15" Lobster platter .... it comes in a larger size with a 'pair of pounders' - where's the butter?

Blue Crabs ..... all you need is a hand line, net and bucket. If you're lucky you'll land a 'softy' or two.

Tritter Feefer at J Covington Home

I remember Tritter Feefer's first Atlanta Market show - it was fabulous. The European Inspired and American Made furniture had function, form and great lines. One of their modern table's reminds me of a find from my antiquing days in Belgium. Their furniture has handsome lines, a full & firm body and clean presence. All of their furniture is crafted from sustainable & reclaimed resources here in the United States with an environmentally friendly focus. Visit the J Covington Home website to see more of TF's line or to order - more pieces will be added shortly!

Serena, Maharani & Goddess Chandeliers by Currey & Company

The stunning new Blue Serena, Pink Maharani & Green Goddess chandeliers and wall sconces by Currey & Company hit the markets early last month and they have been a smash hit. In fact, I believe all are sold out at the moment but one style! The large aqua blue Serena Chandelier with its array of glass orbs came first last year, and its contemporary and sassy look opened the floor for this new introduction. I think they are fabulous and if you want to read more about them go to J. Covington Home.
